Journaling is so cool
With the interesting times we are living in today in life; especially as a starseed and a spiritual person. Wow, it’s easy to see why journaling has become such an important staple ingredient and creative tool plus steady companion which is supporting many peoples success stories.
As a successful person, these days I know how important it is to speak what I want into the universe in order to attract the life that I desire. Journaling has been a vital part of my own personal success and the success of my family.
Things got pretty phenomenal back in the year 2009, that’s around the period of time when I went over countless information in books, online and in videos where I saught a simple way to track some of the vital routines, ideas, tools along with the various resources that other really successful people like to use during their day/ month/ year to support their path to reaching their best version of themselves.
When I was young, the idea of books and also the act of writing in them just touched me in my heart for quite a long time. I was inspired most definitely only that’s all I had actually figured out about journaling in the beginning.
Find your reason, what’s your why?
Even though I never felt safe writing in a journal when I first started I knew that I wanted to say something in a book. I wanted to release, share, make a record or document something which I felt was/ is important to me plus my life.
What about you? Think about what you’re wanting to do and how this ties with the current decisions and choices you’re making for yourself. You may find this helpful too!
Back to the story,
Ok so in the beginning or start of my journaling journey At first, that’s all I knew. I had to write, make markings on a page, whatever. All I knew was that creating was a part of what I needed to do.
The intuitive part of me led me to journaling! And I used to think I had to obtain permission, a recipe, a special blueprint, a …….etc before I could actually give myself the permission to begin a journaling practice.
Find your reason for writing
I was inspired to write, to the point I recalled how much time I used to take just to find the perfect type of writing pieces to help me get the words from my mind then onto a page.
The process of creating through writing did eventually work for me though, thankfully.
By also working closely with my spirit guides, I’ve grown to be absolutely fascinated with recording daily life as a starseed and a temporary human being (more on that later).
It gets me all giddy when I consider the fact that I am connected to everyone and everything in the universe. I’ve come to find that, With those ideas about myself, I find it easy to take a second here or there to make a note of what I’m aware of during the course of my day.
If I’m in fact a spiritual being who wants to continue to awaken then I am surely practicing self-love through documenting the important insights, takeaways, experiences for myself so that I can continue to grow plus to increase my overall growth!
Journaling is all about
Things like remembering, appreciating, being in the moment, opening up to that which is wanting in one’s life. Over time I’ve come to play with my own process of manifesting via journaling. It works well.
Since pretty early on in my life, making notes of things seemed to be a practice that I was quite fond of. I used to look for the perfect journals in bookstores in order to have the right space to take notes of things in. I would love going to new age shops, metaphysical spots, book stores and online as well.
Journaling is rewarding in many ways
One of the best ways to gain clarity about your life is by journaling your thoughts and feelings. Especially if you’re feeling conflicted or confused about certain situations, writing your thoughts out can be incredibly enlightening!
You don’t have to be a “writer” to journal effectively either. To take action with writing will grow you regardless. In fact, your writing skills are in the right place all ready to start today.
Kudos to you! Just the act of putting your thoughts into a logical order or free-flowing artsy musings into written form can help you to understand what you’re feeling, and why. This is huge for personal transformation.
Here are some tips to help you use journaling for personal growth:
1) Keep it simple. You don’t need to spend a lot of money on a fancy journal. In fact, unless you’re an experienced journaler, I recommend using an inexpensive, composition book. Or simply a lined notebook.
Keeping your journaling tools simple will help you break through into journaling to Get it started!
Then you won’t feel so much pressure to be “perfect” in what you write or write in or on. You won’t be afraid to doodle and decorate or whatever happens to flow onto the paper either.
2) Don’t hold back. When you journal for the purposes of personal growth, don’t try to edit yourself, or make your writing understandable to anyone else.
The most freeing technique is to put your pen to paper and just write whatever comes to mind. No one else will see your writing. Not unless you want them to, so write! Go with it!
3) Focus on the feelings. If you find yourself at a standstill about what to write in your journal, begin with the phrase, “I’m enjoying…”. This will usually get your flowing, and you will be better able to express your energy through your writing.
4) Guided journaling. Another helpful technique is guided journaling, which means providing a prompt for yourself. Especially if you’re struggling with something specific, you can more easily get the words flowing with a nudge in the right direction.
Some example prompts would be, “Describe your perfect career and the reasons it would fulfill you.” Or, “Think about the most painful experience in your past, what you learned from it, what positive takeaways came out of it. Then write about the ways the experiences have effectively affected who you are today.”
5) At times, its quite often it’s nice to review your journal entries periodically. Going back to look at your journal entries can be very illuminating and provide amazing clarity about the energy you’re allowing or what you’re giving off, or learning in yourself- or in your person.
With time and practice, as you take action within your regular journaling practice you will likely begin to see improved patterns in your thinking, habitual behaviors, and beliefs. The most important thing is to keep an objective mindset while you look at your writing entries.
Take care Extra care to not judge or to belittle yourself. Keep the focus on personal growth and development. Instead of beating yourself up or cringing over your latest fussy rant, ask yourself, “How can I use this overstanding, this insight, awareness, knowledge to improve my particular circumstances now?”
Don’t worry be happy
Things will come together with your writing. If you’re not a natural writer, journaling may seem like a lot of effort at first. But it is so worth it! I can recall now that As a little girl I wrote letters by the hundreds to people I knew.
Then on into my twenties, I decided I wanted to understand myself better, so I began keeping all sorts journals for this and that…
I keep a few journals for manifesting, some journals for writing along with my art, inner child journaling also vision book journaling, tarot journaling too. Pretty much, as I recall it..
I have journals that are about supporting me with a focus on self-discovery. Keeping journals then eventually using them has been magick in my life! That very practice has paid off in amazing ways over the past decade or so.
Why would you like to keep a journal?
In what area of life are you looking to grow in? Well, go begin adding that into your writing. Don’t wait, Go go go! You can also keep journals for other reasons besides personal growth.
For example, you can begin a gratitude journal to jot down a few things you are thankful for each day, which will help you to feel more positive about your life.
You can keep a spiritual growth journal to record prayers and meditations that are effective for you. You can keep a dream journal to learn more about the messages your dreams hold.
Astral travel, psychic, mediumship, ancestral, witchy, bible, travel, love, self-love, creative, happiness, yoga, music, songs, tea, a journal of solutions, health and well being, positive mindset, fashion, prenatal, healing, and so much more!
Really there is no wrong way to journal. It’s up to you to choose. However, be reminded that however you choose to journal-The possibilities are endless!
What are some journal options?
How do you choose to journal?
If you really don’t like writing with pen and paper, you can also keep an online journal in the form of a blog and even on in a cell phone too. There are many options for blog software offering free membership accounts, with easy-to-use interfaces. Three popular choices are WordPress.com, Blogger.com, and LiveJournal.com.
If you keep an online journal, you may want to make it private so no one else can view it. It’s amazing what search engines can find nowadays is astonishing, and you may not want your neighbor or employer coming across your array of free private typed out thoughts.
Most blog sites offer an option to keep your blog non-viewable to the public, you can choose private or even password protected on WordPress. WordPress is what I use. I love it too.
Also interesting is that You can opt to stay anonymous with your blog, but allow others to read it. Writing anonymously is easy, just pick a pseudonym and don’t share any identifiable information about yourself. Then get to writing.
Lastly, but also Very important
Finally, don’t feel that you have to follow any set rules with your journaling. Do what works best for you.
Enjoy each moment of your personal growth journey!
