The Blood type Diet. And How Reading About Good Health Saved My Life

I was up north going to college online getting my bachelors degree for psychology. I had a great time in college it was like I was at the actual physical school although I was not. I learned that soon I could pick my minor and I chose nutrition! Which I so needed to learn about. What I learned in that class was most amazing. I had so many years of not looking the way I wanted to I felt trapped. Oh yes, I exercised too but…

Ever since I was a little girl I was always quite sensitive to the environment. I never had allergies or anything like that but I felt I could digest my food better if I knew what to do from a professional standpoint anyway. So here I was making a huge mistake with what I was eating even though I felt okay. So I researched various diet plans while in school for nutrition. I kept looking each day online or off for a complete lifestyle change. The Lifestyle change I sought was one that could easily suit my schedule and assist me in making the changes I desperately needed to make.

Like yesterday I recall a distinct picture of myself. I was gaining weight that I did not want to. The weight was coming out of nowhere. All I desired was to be the size I was when I was in grade school. Instead of losing weight, over time my body just got about 2 sizes larger and that was already too much for me since I’m not even that tall. I had nowhere to put the extra fat.

To top that, my self-esteem was so low growing up closer to high school age. In the house where I did a good part of my growing up, we ate healthily. I did not what it was about me. My body was becoming a fat magnet. I was the oddball too as no one was really overweight in my immediate family.

For years I chose vegetarianism. Which for the most part, I can say I definitely have enjoyment for. What’s not to like about vegetarianism? Well, some folks can’t stand doing it. If you count the list of do’s and don’t do’s you would see why.

I tried being a vegetarian and that way of eating was not enough for me, but when I went vegan I felt so good. Vegan was my new found choose to stay in shape for a while. Next I went raw vegan and now I'm doing the blood type diet which is a pretty controversial way of eating. To put it simply- The results from the blood type diet are the best results I’ve ever had. Since I've been doing the diet for a B type body I feel better than when I was a vegetarian and a vegan too.

It turns out that the whole world has different DNA and we are all in need of another nutritional blueprint too. None of us have the same fingerprint either. It’s profound. Such as life. So what did I heal, you ask? Great question. With the use of the blood type diet for only 30 days in still counting several months later…

I healed my entire body. Here’s how it worked, see I had so much less energy as a vegan. Then I found out that there is only one blood type that is supposed to actually be a strict vegetarian and I’m sure the ‘Eat right for your blood type’, the book said it was an A blood type that does best with a vegetarian type of diet.

The blood type diet was never a diet for me I must admit. I don’t do dieting. I respect systems. It’s a crazy thing because I do not prefer routines overall. Still, the idea of working from a system is so neat. I was ready for a deeper result when I went from vegan to eating meat again.

Results are here, so, for now, I will continue to include or exclude whatever foods in or out of my diet, as the book says. For equal measure, I also use a naturopathic doctor, acupuncturist herbalist, and when I can make it, I like a regular visit to a massage therapist too. Utilizing resources I found through friends, in the community and online I have found a paradise for my health.

Alternative health is the way I have healed. Alternative health balanced my body, as a result, I quickly found my way back down to the size I’ve always wanted to be. I’m telling the whole truth! I truly saw all the results I wanted from eating for my particular body type. I forgot to mention that the book: Eat right for your blood type’ is based on 35 years of ongoing research.

I have found the book Eat Right 4 Your Type to be divine medicine for the soul. Make sure you do your own research, as i did mine. All I saw after my 30 day test of the diet/ lifestyle was awesome results and I'm in a better place all the way around. Case in point, listen to your body to see what works best for you!

    this is so cool that you shared this, sereda. i recall back in the day a vendor who sold handmade items telling me about this book. however, it wasn’t until last year that i decided to check it out of the library.

    i was a strict vegan for 4 years and then decided a year or so ago to re-introduce certain sea animals and free range eggs into my eating routine. i’m so giddy while eating a plate of baked salmon and amaranth grits. lol. i decided to go back to certain foods because i noticed i began to think about foods such as eggs and i figured that was my body’s way of telling me something. when i read the book, it stated that i do well with lots of animal protein. eating animal protein after years of not doing so is surprisingly working well for me so far. my next step is to begin visiting a naturopath to refine my holistic health care even further.

      Yess.. It’s a profound discovery. Especially when we were taught that everyone should be eating one particular way to be considered automatically healthy.
