How Qigong Changed My Life.

Life is ever-changing, we are transforming in ways we cannot always see or appreciate.

Which brings me to why I do Qigong, to begin with. Some of you know me quite well from reading my blog. Those of you who know me, know that I am a holistic practitioner. In being a holistic healer overall is my position in life. Everything I do is done to share uplifting with those who will listen so that I may assist in some way in the upliftment of our planet. Sounds deep, well it’s also true.

Historically people can be put into various categories as far as their level of sensitivities are concerned. Being an energy healer I find myself to be quite in touch with my feelings but also with others feelings too.

Sometimes in my life, I have felt depression, sadness, or feelings that I knew were not necessarily how I was feeling at the time. I learned from a great teacher named Ra Un Nefer Amen that I and much of the people who make up the world population are continuously transmitting our energy/ vibes.

The world breathes the same air, which I find to be most cool about living!

Simply put, we are one. We are like one big organism. So, we can pick up one another s’ energy whether we are aware of it or not. Sometimes I used to feel an overwhelming weight on my shoulders about nothing. I felt sick, sad, emotional about nothing.

Finally, I learned that I have a gift to see, feel and sense others feelings, concerns, and even their joys. I then learned how to do subtle routines to influence my body so that I could balance my life force on my own. I have gone to holistic practitioners had a life coach, spiritual guides, teachers, friends, and family go through some of the same things.

  1. What I’ve found is we all have the ability to love ourselves.

  2. To love ourselves is natural since we are love.

  3. Love is what we came into the world as..if we can see a baby born into the world they are joyful, peaceful and neutral. To see a baby breathe and interact is to see balance at work. We were all once babies.

  4. I concluded that balance is the way to a fruitful life. I felt that way after I learned Qigong and felt the benefits of it surging through my body. I went from feeling like a soggy old almost lifeless plant to an exuberance I could not compare to any other feeling I have ever been exposed to.

  5. I found that I wanted to be blissful at all times. I really did.

  6. There was a force of emotions that kept tugging at me though. I’m not saying that emotions don’t have the power to do that today however I know that I am in full control of any and all emotions.

What are emotions?

Well, they are diagnostic signals to let your body know it needs help, equilibrium. So emotions are not what we thought they were I learned. That’s what really helped me, I learned that I must guide my energy to where I want to be. Mastering my own energy by doing small calculated routines either brought me from feeling crappy to feeling ecstatic.

Making an effort to guide my energy to exactly the way I wanted to feel has improved my health, confidence, follow through, goal setting efforts, self-love, endurance, and no doubt my success too.

I look forward to showing you some Qigong exercises on video pretty soon. For now, read the resources on this blog if you can identify with wanting to feel better and be more in control of your vibration. Qi Gong Has the ability to heal just about anything you can think of. Once you begin, you can see for yourself.

What Is Qigong?

The word ‘Qigong’ is made up of the two words ‘Qi’ meaning energy or gas in Mandarin and ‘Gong’ meaning technique. Therefore Qigong basically means ‘energy cultivation’. Qigong, therefore, is a method of standard Chinese medicine relating to the control and coordination of breathing to support superior wellbeing.

Qigong is considered to be the result of decades of struggle by the Chinese people for survival.

Over the course of many decades in Asia during the practice of mixed martial arts was developed. Along with various styles of martial arts, QiGong was born. Qigong is breathing techniques used in conjunction with mental concentration. Deep breathing by its very nature, greatly improves bodily functions completely on its own. Qigong is quite similar to Taoism and Buddhism in respect to it’s overall goal. Thus religion and spirituality plays a very important role in Qigong techniques in some cultures. One doesn’t have to be religious at all to practice the art of Qigong. Some forms of Qigong even believe that an individual can attain higher levels of accomplishment only if he is very virtuous.

Traditional Chinese medicine operates on a simple but effective premise – that of ‘Chi’. Chi is the energy or life force that travels through the human body and suffuses all our organs with health and well being. When this flow is blocked or disturbed, there is a disturbance within the system that manifests itself as a disease. According to tradition, all that a doctor has to do to restore good health is to analyze the reasons for the block and to take measures to facilitate the free flow of energy once again.

Qigong teaches an individual to live in such a way that the free flow of energy happens always so that he/ she is free from diseases. As the two words indicate, Qigong deals with the manipulation of breath to achieve and maintain robust health.

This art has found a strong role in the martial arts of ancient China where people had to mobilize energy and stamina in coordination with the physical act of breathing. Qigong has the ability to heal just about anything you can think of. The disequilibrium is how the body gets unhealthy. Bringing the body back into balance is the key to having vitality again!

This Chinese healing art is an effective form of alternative medicine that uses a series of light concentrated exercises to synchronize the mind and the body. It is said that most people use only a modest portion of the energy inside of them. A lot of people get sick due to the fact they do not breathe correctly.

These two facts have been shown in countless studies in Qigong, where proper breathing helps bring good health. As such, Qigong is mostly taught for health maintenance purposes. But rarely the doctor also uses Qigong for therapeutic purposes. Shallow breathing is a habit for so many that have to be unlearned through time and patience.

In the modern world, millions of people all around the world practice Qigong for maintaining their good health. Qigong and other related arts are still associated with meditation and martial arts.

But as opposed to the past, these people are no longer the sole custodians of the intricate techniques involved in Qigong. These techniques have become so popular now that medical Qigong has been officially recognized as a medical technique in China.

The practice of Qigong started practically 5,000 years before. Currently, there are nearly 3,000 styles of Qigong. Tai Chi is just one of the more well-known varieties of QiGong.

The far east and western societies have regarded the level of effectiveness of this practice to be beneficial in a great way for the use of getting rid of depression, lack of confidence, fear, worry, grief, sadness, unbalanced joy, and all emotional imbalances period.

How about you? Have you had the pleasure of doing Qi Gong or any other energy body cultivation practices? Leave a comment. Love to hear about it. Much love.
